Moles of CO 2 produced = moles of C = = 2.25

∴ Volume of CO 2 at STP = 2.25 × 22.4 = 50.4 L

Ratio of C and O in CO 2 = 12 : 32 = 3 : 8

Moles of unreacted O 2 = 2.75 – 2.25 = 0.5

∴ Volume of unreacted O 2 at STP = 0.5 × 22.4 = 11.2 L
